GAYATRI SHAKTIPEETH, PALANPUR

Gayatri Pariwar, Palanpur was started on 7th December, 1975, as per the guidance of Shantikunj, in the presence of Panch Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya. The registration no of which is G-253, which was formed in the year December 1975. After that 25 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya was arranged with the help of Banaskantha district which was managed by Pt. Lilapat Sharmaji. After that 108 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya was arranged by Gayatri Pariwar between 26-2-1987 to 1-3-1987.

Shaktipeeth Palanpur was developed under the motivation of respected Dr. Pranav Pandya. The volunteers of Palanpur Gayatri Pariwar, went to Shantikunj and under the divine protection of Vandaniya Mataji decided to establish a Shaktipeeth in Palanpur. Gayatri Pariwar Trust, Palanpur was established and the registration no for which is E-719/B.K. dt. 3-5-1994.

After that a 50,000 sq. ft. land is purchased on Abu Road (National Highway No. 14.). About 300 volunteers of Gayatri Pariwar, Palanpur, has done one group Anusthan on that land in April 1995, (Chaitra Navratri) and the Purnahuti was done by 25 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya under the presence of Shri Shantibhai Patel, Shantikunj. Bhumi-pujan ceremony was done on 11th February 1997, Vasant Panchami.

Under the Pranpratishtha ceremony, which was done by Respected Dr. Pranav Pandya on 15, 16, 17 April 2001 in which statues of Gayatri mata, Saraaswati mata, Laxmi mata & Bhagwan Shiv are established. The total cost of the Shaktipeeth came to Rs. 50 Lacs.

Shaktipeeth established on Gujarat Rajasthan border in the Banaskantha district, spreaded on 65,000 sq. ft. area, is involved in activities of public awareness. It is not just a temple, but it is the centre for child development & man-making activities. We provide services for sixteen Indian Vedic Sanskaras like Punsavan, Name ceremony, Chudakarma, Vidhyarambh, Yagyopavit, Lagna, Diksha, Birthday and Wedding Anniversary etc. at free of cost.

Under our Patanjali Yog Department 70 to 100 persons are developing their physical & mental health and reducing their stress by Astangyoga & Rajyoga.
